+1
i'm also interested to know if this is really effective.
the salesman in handyman showed me some before and after electricity bills but i'm not sure if that is really true. you can easily make that type of before and after change by, let's say, this month i'll use too much of my electrical appliances such washing machine, electric drills, water pump and so on. then the following month, use less of these appliances. now that will appear good!
so knowing from those who have really tried is more reliable (most of the time). 🙂
Re: Electricity Saving Device
the salesman at SM used a digital ammeter in his demo.indeed the current registered in the meter went down the moment the device was connected.I asked why they didnt use a meralco kilowatt-hour meter 4 the demo and he could not say why.anyway, im not buying until i see them slow down a meralco meter with their device.what do you think?

that makes sense specially if the meter is not digital just like the ones they provide now.
but from what i know, meralco provides this meter when you apply for connection. otherwise, i'm not sure if they will allow that for demo purposes.
Re: Electricity Saving Device
they could have used a locally available meter(Ever brand i think)used for submetering purposes.the principle is the same as the standard Meralco KWH meter where the speed of the disk rotation is directly proportional to the power used.as for the digital KWH meters maybe you could time the rate of change of the digits.any feedbacks from actual users?
Re: Electricity Saving Device
i just learned from my brother that he bought one last week.
i'll have to check his bill for at least 3 months and compare it with his previous bills including the months last year.
if there is a significant improvement, then i'll buy one also.
i'll keep you posted after about 3 months 🙂

Re: Electricity Saving Device
ung pag gamit nyang energy saver depende din sa consumption mo. sabi nila kung nag coconsume ka nang mga 10,000 pesos you should use 2 or 3 of it. nag try ako 2 years ago bumili nang 1 and i monitor it, parang wala naman changes. then may nag offer sakin nang Hilock power controller na 10,000 pesos naman and buy 1 take 1, may changes naman sa bill ko pero hindi kalakihan. siguro nabawasan nang around 1,000 sa bill. almost 2 years ko na din gamit yan 3 naka saksak lang sa outlet, hindi ko na pinapansin pero ang electric bill ko 2 years ago for 2 meters is 18-22k, ngayon 16-18k lang
