Hi,

I always use paypal for online purchases, but I noticed that this site doesn't accept paypal.

What's your experience with them in terms of reliability?

Any glitches?

Re: Harborfreight experience

And they only accept credit cards issued in the US. 😡

Reliability and durability.... depends on the item. The user reviews on their website are reliable so stay away from the items with poor reviews.

I bought my F clamps from HF. My only regret is I didn't by more when I had the chance.

So that means, I cannot buy from them 🙁

@spyghost & joey81

Last year I purchased few items from them using my citi card that was issued here, but didn't had any problem. And last month I got few items from them again using a bdo card, and so far no glitches. I always wanted to use my paypal but they don't accept it.
Why don't you guys try registering a US address as your billing address to complete your transaction, I think that's what I did.

I've always thought they use the billing address as an added measure of security, that they'd reject the transaction if the address you specified doesn't match with your credit card company's records.

It seems its only for show. Thanks for the tip! I'll try that trick soon. 🙂

Nope. It didn't work.
Both BPI MasterCard and Citibank Visa failed. 🙁

@JayL, have you tried this? I'll call BPI tomorrow to see if they can do it.

Re: Harborfreight experience

Sir, you can try http://shop.forexworld.us/Default.aspx instead of Johhny Cargo. mas makakatipid kayo. You can use their credit card with their Online Shopping service or use someone else then drop ship the product to their address.

Forex (and other similar services) will charge a 5% fee on top of the item cost. This is what I'm trying to avoid (kuripot ako, eh).

HarborFreight does accept orders by phone. You can call them via their 1-800 number. And I just found out that you can dial 1-800 numbers using Skype, FREE OF CHARGE! 😎

Will try to order by phone soon.

Re: Harborfreight experience

5% is when they shop something for you. You can drop ship to them. Just pay the BBox.

Re: Harborfreight experience

The most important thing for Harbor Freight purchases are the in store discount coupons. Just don't know if they have online coupons too.
