Hi guys!
Need help on my Vespa air compressor.
It developed a leak on point 2 while 1 was connected. Malutong na rin yung hose at may butas na.
Since I had an urgent job to do, tinanggal ko na muna sya like the way it is now.
The pressure switch still works that is why I am puzzled on what the is purpose of this hose coming from 3 going to the pressure switch 2.
I am sure meron sya function and I have Googled with no luck.
Can I just disable it?
Please help.

Gumagana pa rin yung auto shut off switch? Para jan yung hose na yan ah..
I had that same problem before sa dati kong compressor nahuhugot naman sa fittings nya..
Kaya ang ginawa ko binaran ko muna yung rubber hose ng bolt para hindi sumingaw ang hangin
Kaso nga lang hindi na nag automatic..diretso andar ng motor..
Pero pwede mo i convert ng copper tube yung hose,bili ka lang ng copper tube sa auto supply
And some fittings..ginagamit sa mga preno ng sasakyan( brake line )

After cutoff of pressure switch, it automatically actuates a mechanism (small pin - pt. 2) to depressurized the plastic tube to remove the air pressure in copper metal tube between air receiver (tank - pt. 3) and compressor head. Relieving the pressure in metal tube facilitates easy startup of the air compressor the next time it will run. This setup can be seen also between two-stage configuration.
Pt. 3 may have a check valve so there will be pressurized air in copper metal tube after cutoff.
If motor is strong enough, start up will not be much of an issue however restore the original configuration so startup current will not be high otherwise persistent high current startup of motor may decrease motor life.

Ngayon nalinawan na ako sa function nya.
Kaya pala meron "pss" sound pag nag auto off sya. It relieves the pressure from the piston for easy starting.
May pressure lang yung defective hose when the pump is running kaya siguro hindi ko agad napansin na may singaw na. Nabisto ko lang nung ayaw na mag automatic off. Dahil sa singaw hindi na maabot yung upper pressure.
Yes kaya nya magstart dahil siguro malakas yung motor pero I will take your advise to avoid early demise to my motor.
