Main use would be driving 1/2inch to 2inches screws on 3/4 to 1inch plyboards/plywoods...
and drilling 1/2inch holes on the same materials...
I am hesitant and would really like a 14.4v but the problem is availability...
most sellers on the online store i visit have no stocks for the 14.4v...
but 12v are plenty...

if you want a good investment for powertools go for 18 volts, it has more motor power and battery life specially if its lithium ion battery technology,
