runner and a 'border' to make sure it runs straight. The border 'hugs' the edge of the table top
Hold downs.. supposed to have toggle clamps at the end, but found out i didnt need the toggle clamps
slots on the sled. i dont really know the advantage of having slots on both the hold downs and the sled itself. but i didnt see any drawbacks so i went with it anyway
Re: lazy sunday = rip sled for TS
lazy person's knob
wow! it works!
it works too! The hold down pressure seems ok but the phenolic is really slick. So i may put a sheet of sand paper on the sled and underneath the hold downs
Re: lazy sunday = rip sled for TS
Nice work Bee. Since you have a nice cement floor for your workshop, an infeed/outfeed tables or roller stands would be helpful. Just make sure the table saw is firmly planted.
Re: lazy sunday = rip sled for TS
Thanks Incc. I have plans for an infeed and outfeed extension once i have finalized where to permanently position the saw.
Also plan to put a drawers and cabinets for it
