Run those shanks and tips lightly on a bench wire wheel and they will look like new. The handles you can wipe with WD40 to clean up.

Re: Manual Screw Drivers

Here is the Koken Pozidrv. Except for the price these Koken handle grips are excellent for dry work. The rubber handle becomes gooey a bit when it comes to contact with oil.

Re: Manual Screw Drivers

If I do you can't see the tips. If it gives problem to the thread please delete the post. I can't see the edit buttons.

For - & + , My experience is that the Unior handles are no match for the Koken grips for dry work. The Koken with striking caps ( automotive ) are heavier than the Koken without striking caps ( electrical ) too. Trade off for having the capability of the pass thru design. Hex shanks on the Koken as well.

Notice the Koken handle design near the shank. That gives good leverage for higher torquing with no finger slip.

Everything to me is good about the Koken handle except that the rubber becomes a bit gooey when it comes in contact with oil and these would probably be very difficult to clean as well.

Re: Manual Screw Drivers

Hi Gents,

I’m a newbie on this wonderful site, and its such a great site.

I wonder if you ever encountered or come across some mold-like white powdery substance on rubberized tool handles like those on pliers, hammers, even some screwdrivers, etc.,
These are seen on tools that I put away in storage or not in-use for some time, I’m trying to figure out but cant’t seem to find any pattern to why its happening on some tools, and not on others.. Will appreciate any info how to stop them from forming.

Thanks, keep up the great work!
