A view of the Velcro sanding pad w/c can be loaded w/a pre-punched sheet keeping the Intec dust controller system efficient.

The SXE 450 TurboTec Duo Orbital Sander is two sanders in one. It has duo orbit diameter settings: 2.8mm and 6.2mm for greater versatility of sanding. Press the Duo oscillating button and switch from fine to coarse sanding by turning the base till you hear a clicking sound.

The SXE 450 TurbTec has an extremely sturdy die-cast aluminium flange.This machine is even more compact, light-weight and ergonomic.

The INTEC extraction adaptor nozzle for external dust extraction. Facilitates the easy connection of an external dust extraction system as an alternative.

Oh by the way, the sticker still says 50hz. There were tools that were shipped to our country with the old 50Hz label still attached. These units were designed for a 60Hz setting but the replacement stickers were sent separately. The label for this tool is due to arrive in the next 2 weeks together with my other orders of accessories. I was just excited to get my 2 units so I didn't bother to wait for the labels to arrive. They normally replace the electronic oscillator switch which will not work on the first and second speed setting if the power source frequency is at 50Hz. The most important thing here is the Oscillator switch of w/c I can attest they have replaced for the 60Hz conversion and that now we are using it for our production w/o any problems whatsoever related to the frequency issue.

A look at the bottom reveals the cling fast velcro pad base w/c aid in the INTEC dust collection system. The pad is medium grade for smooth to rough surface stock application.

A closer look at the Rubberized Palm rest top. This makes for a secure and stable hand control while moving the tool on the work piece minimizing if not eliminating grip slips. It's ergonomic design in terms of size is just right even for Asian hands.
