Pre- selected speed delivers maximum reserve power on demand at the touch of a button with turbo boost technology to remove even more material. TurboBoost can be activated at any preselected speed. The familiar Push lock Trigger switch is also standard for this model.

The pleated filter is simply removed from the box for cleaning. The filter and the box are both very easy to clean.

I also ordered some consumables. Mine came in 40,80 and 120 grit sheets. Metabo has great quality sheets that last longer than most brands I"ve tried. The grit 40 sheet w/c I use as a starter sheet lasted sanding 10 pcs. of 1" x 10" x 10ft. of IROKO hardwood. The price isn't bad either around P32.00 /sheet for the 80 & 120 grit and around P40.00 /sheet for the grit 40.They are packaged in 25's per type or grit.

Enjoyed! What is the diameter of the dust port and is it the same for the rectangular sheet sander and the planer? Both sanders look like they might have a clearance issue for vacuum hose connectors, with the port so close to the handle...

For example, the Bosch ROS port is 28/23 mm OD/ID. Happen to have a hose similar to this Bosch hose. It has a flexible rubberized nozzle that press fits over the port (a tight fit, at first I thought not compatible), but with larger ports, it would press fit inside the port as long as the ID is right.

"Made in UA" ... had to look that one up ... Ukraine?

The dust port is designed to accept a Vacuum hose size of 35mm w/c is the standard for most household and shop Vacs. Metabo sells bayonet adapters that solve both the extension and adaptation issues you mentioned. I just don't know if it applies to all their ported tools.
