i have a scrollsaw with speed control, the problem is that when Im using it always stop, so I will turn the power switch on again it will run again but after a few seconds it stop working again. i think there is a problem in the electronic speed control. What should I do? Is there anyone who encountered the same problem, hope you can help me.TIA
Re: scrollsaw problem
it would be nice to know the make and model of the scrollsaw in question. generally though it could be caused by dust build up inside the switch/speed control that can be cured by using compressed air to clean it with. I have a makita SJ401 and from where I sit, I can see that the switch for the speed control is in a place that seales the switching unit or not exposed to dust. Check also your plug socket, a loose could be traced to that as well.
