I wanted a short and slim body 5" angle grinder. The requirements are that it has to have an M14 spindle and in 220 volts. There were 2 grinders in my list that fitted. The Metabo W8-125 and the Bosch GWS 11-125CI. Both are locally available.

The Metabo has a Clutch System while the Bosch has Kick Back Stop. In the end I chose Bosch because it has more power @ 1100 Watts compared to the 850 watts Metabo. However I note that both tools are excellent German Made angle grinders.

V here are the shots. Sorry for the crappy pics .... I'll shoot better ones when I use the tool.

The jigsaw is hefty but feels good in my hand. I do wear size xl gloves. Probably needs to get used to it first as this is the first time for me to try a barrel grip.

it looks like i will have difficulty looking at the line of cut versus the regularly designed jigsaw.imho

baka needs a snaking camera at the front more like a cctv and you view the line of cut through a monitor.hehe

nice base plate..i hope it glides smoothly.

i really thought its relatively smaller.i am wrong.

maybe for rough cuts?

V I reckon that the reason these type of Jigsaw is popular in Europe and North America is because most of them have larger hands.

I never had much use for a Jigsaw doing precision work. Most of the time I still need to finish up using either sandpaper or a file while woodworking.

Initially I purchased this saw for wood but on the contrary now I think it would do better in metal. The more relaxing barrel grip will benefit the user since metal cutting is a very very slow process specially for thicker plates.

Anyway I really can't give concrete opinions as yet until I try it out.

Oo nga naparami bigla Bosch tools mula ng bigyan tayo ng Cordless Drill. I switched most of my new purchases from Metabo to Bosch like this jigsaw.
