Sir pwede sa ceiling. Pull down type, naka hang yung cabinet pero naka hinge isa side then pagkailangan ibababa lang using pulleys.

Just an idea sir :-)
thanks..i think i saw a design in woodsmith before..but i am afraid i cant do it..need to tear down the ceiling for that purpose.

Re: Show your recent tool purchase/s ( The Tool/s Loot )

New to me used Makita 9227C Polisher Sander

Cleaning it up ... will probably buy a sanding pad and 7" discs for this and use it for metal works sanding

The 120V Makita 9227C and the 220V model don't have the same spindle

120V on the left 5/8"-11 ......... 220V on the right M14?

Except for the voltage ( motor ), plug and spindle ... tools look the same.

Re: Show your recent tool purchase/s ( The Tool/s Loot )

the 9227c is a a very durable polisher bro..my brother who has about 5 autopainters alternately use this beast for polishing for 10 years until the worm gear broke some of its teeth late last year had it replaced c/o Mayon (and expensive!)....and now it is working fine like new!

just not so sure if you can use this effectively for sanding metal works since the rpm is low.

best i guess for polishing.

what i have is NOS bosch..gp014e i think..but i love the makita's 9227c handle more.

hooray!

@V

The Makita polisher still runs fine. However since I got it used I wonder if I should open up the head and re grease the worm gears.

Re: Show your recent tool purchase/s ( The Tool/s Loot )

Bro Jay, word of caution, these kind of polishers are meant only for polishing or buffing, their maximun spead is about 5000 to 6000 rpm only compared to the regular metal grinders which reaches up to 12000rpm.

Reason for the slower rpm, so that painted coats will not be abraized or scratch during the process of application. Now using it to grind metals will not be that effective and might burn the motors.

Though very nice new toys acquisition. Congrats bro, very nice indeed !!!

Re: Show your recent tool purchase/s ( The Tool/s Loot )

@ Bro Rosy ... thanks for the heads up.

I was thinking more about controlled metal removal by sanding ( larger flat surfaces ) if I can get the attachments to try it.

This pad looks like it would work with the 9227C

but needs this one too

Re: Show your recent tool purchase/s ( The Tool/s Loot )

I agree. That 9227 sander polisher is a favorite of boatbuilders for hull sanding. It has a big 7-inch disc and lasts forever.

Been thinking for the longest time about getting one but i find it expensive. Took a chance on a similar Ryobi instead with a six-inch disc.

Re: Show your recent tool purchase/s ( The Tool/s Loot )

@ balarila (bro Ding),

I have a friend that sell items like pyth or dettedoromal, well we have become friends already because I have purchased a number of tools from him personally. The guy is from VALENZ. BULACAN and goes to TANAY every Friday and Saturday with his ELF truck filled with his merchandize, he and his wife have a property somewhere in Sampalok or Daraitan. He then just park his elf on one side of the street going to the market and displays all his kalakal during tiangge day. One time while I was checking his tools on the flat bed ELF, I saw RYOBI 9" angle grinder complete with its accessories in a carry case and he offered it to me for only 1.2K or 1.5K, wow so cheap, I declined kasi I told him I have a DEWALT 9" angle grinder already and one 9 incher is enough for me na, what I got from him was a RYOBI portable tile cutter table. One thing I like about this guy is he gives a lifetime free service on tools purchased from him. WOW !! Now I'm ordering from him a Ryobi bench grinder combo with disc or belt sander, I just hope he gets lucky sa mga octions nya sa SUBIC.

Point here bro is that you might be interested in his merchandise, thanx.

Re: Show your recent tool purchase/s ( The Tool/s Loot )

@ BRo Rosy,

I got some of my ryobi tools sa HMR auction in Balintawak way back 2008. May kasabay ako na bidder na pinapakyaw ang mga powertools na Ryobi, GMC at Ozito. I got my 2 Ryobi heat gun for P800 only. At that time konti pa lang ang mga bidder, jackpot ka pag wala nag bid na iba sa item na gusto mo. HMR Auction required P5000 deposit sa bidder but it's refundable. You can view the tools a day before the auction.

I believe this is the source of all Ryobi and AEG tools sold in Sulit

http://www.jmjauctions.com

...surplus tools, furniture, etc. from Australia/Japan. You can get them used and sometimes almost brand new. What's even better is that you can get them at a fraction of the "Sulit sellers" price. :shhh:
