Re: Show your recent tool purchase/s ( The Tool/s Loot )

JACOBS DRILL CHUCKS...

THESE CHUCKS ARE SO SOLID AND THE KEYS FIT SNUGGLY.

If it's a Jacobs keyed chuck and the lettering are not engraved ( stamped ) but rather laser etched then I'm skipping. The above chuck must be NOS back when Jacobs was still manufacturing in the US.

Jacobs sold their metal stamping machinery prior to their move to China.

hehe...that head lamp i use for reading when i am in bed though.

here is a good battery made by sony...also based on sanyo's eneloop technology..id be happy if the headlight requires 2 or 4 batteries but yes it needs 3 of those AAAs.

Congrats Timb ... I know you are very happy because you like this tool very much. Looks even better than the Dewalt on your sights before.

The table top is huge.

Try it. It's cheap at 130 pesos. Buy at Panda.

Re: Show your recent tool purchase/s ( The Tool/s Loot )

Here is my latest loot. It's not a Bosch TS but this will do just fine.:)

It has it's own stand.

It can cut up to 30".

It can cut rip wood up to 4" (3.75 to be exact). It is equipped with an extension when ripping long planks.

Quick tool-less blade guard change. Here you can see the splitter.
It has no vacuum port. Saw dust goes down the bottom to a dust bag. (Also included in the box)

Re: Show your recent tool purchase/s ( The Tool/s Loot )

Removed the splitter and replaced it with..

blade guard with anti kick-back pawls

There is a lever that lower and raise the blade cover.

As you can see from all the saw dust, napasabak na kaagad.
O.T. (Try as I might, I can't seem to adjust pics 1 & 4 of this post)
