Re: Show your recent tool purchase/s ( The Tool/s Loot )

Some of my "iniipong" power tools.

Not included is my bench vise. The reason for getting these tools are for my automotive projects talaga dahil sa transplant na engine. Grabe ang need for upgrade and repairs it was a fellow club member who made "tusok" sa makina and another enthusiast (di na ko nagulat when i saw some posts of him here). Naman sa electricals, kasi from carb to ecu yung nangyari (apprentice, runner, researcher and naging role ko).

Apologies sa mga admin, just an icebreaker/katuwaann/test of how knowledge na din sa mga newbie or oldies, which among my tools is "japeyk" hehehe!

On a serious note, there's a reason why i opted to buy that. Yung tipong i can compromise ng konti when it comes to safety (not recommended though)...

Everyone once in a while one stumbles on a good find. Here is a GREAT Taiwanese HVLP spray gun called HORN PEP. It's as good as most popular brands like SATA and Devilbiss.

It has a 600ml gravity cup and a fluid & air adjusting valve both on the bottom and the side.

The unit has a 1.4 tip. I think this will be a great match for the 3M pps.:naughty2:

Here's a Hopex color and touch up gun i use for my projects. Very good results like the Asturo and Iwata but for only a fraction of the cost.

Reverse side...

These would be great for detail grinding and sanding. Myself I always preferred the feather touch variable speed control of air tools. However I doubt if my compressor can cope up with an air angle grinder ... I reckon such tool would need 22 cfm at full speed.

Nice tools Bro Willy.

Tnx JayL, these tools run on 60-80 psi air feed. I do have large compressors like iwata, hitachi bebicon and toshiba toscon supplying these but never needed that high air feed.

Bro do you think the air angle grinder would reasonably work with a 3hp 60 gallon compressor with output of 10.3 scfm @ 90 psi. My concern is that I'll have to stop and wait always for compressor recharge while using the tool. tks

The 2" angle grinder does not consume that much air as it is easier to drive and the consumables we use are top brands making both the tool and the disks cut fast and effectively w/o much effort. I could lend you my 4" unit if you like to test it first just to get a feel of your current set up if it's sufficient or not. I've set my pressure regulator cut-in at 60 psi and cut-off at 100 psi and it seems to work fine for my shop set up. In fact i only use a 2hp Vespa to drive them but when the load is heavy like spraying and stuff we use the 3-head models (5-7.5HP) kicking in at 80psi-110psi.

Thank you very much bro.

Hopefully I a get chance to visit your shop in the future and take a peek at the machine shop too.

You mean the 4" angle grinder works fine with a 2 HP Vespa. If it does then I think I'm covered if I decide to get a unit.
