di pa kasi tapos itong work shed ko. baka back to work na at
wala pang masimulan sa mga projects ko!!!

@vcrinfo... kung 1/4 yan eh malamang kailangan ko ng reducer sa 5Hp na vespa
parang ang laki ng outlet eh...tama ba ako?

Malamang kailangan mo ng
reducer. If you can bring some fittings as samples para sigurado.

Re: Show your recent tool purchase/s ( The Tool/s Loot )

I don't understand how this could happen.
I already have two AC arc welders at my disposal.

I hate PHM.

Re: Show your recent tool purchase/s ( The Tool/s Loot )

But bro .... it's difficult to use AC arc welders on thinner material ... that DC Yamato would make things easier.

Congrats ...

Bro horge,

SO ! you finally succumbed to the temptation in getting the Yamato DC Inverter !! LOL
Well you can consider that as a good " kulam ", hehehehe :bat: :borg1:

Using the DC Inverter will give you results very much different from using your AC welders, I guarantee you that. I myself have two AC welders and have compared their differences in terms of performance, ease of use, portability and deeper penetration in the welds applied.
Plus the mere fact that the welder is not that expensive compared to the other brands/competitors in the market.

Bro I'm pretty sure you will enjoy using that Yamato and hmmm may additional ADH agad.

CONGRATS BRO.

Just tried it out a half hour ago, after noting your above comments...
You weren't kidding. DC welding is a lot less violent in terms of sparking+noise.
I also found it more forgiving than AC, and I was able to keep a decent puddle
moving, after finding the sweet spot in amperage (90 to 100) for 6013, my
preferred speed of rod movement, and 2mm thick MS stock.

The Yamato DC 200A seems to represent an excellent return on investment
so far (had to stop when light rain came down). I'll keep practicing on scrap
until middle of next week, by which time I hope to start on some real work.

The Rilon AS-2-F(S) ADH was a perfect example of: you get what you pay for.
Not bad, does the job, but I sometimes wonder if I shouldn't have stuck to my
original plan and gotten the ESAB Origo 9-13 at CSIC, even if it would have
cost me more than double the Rilon from ToppHand.

Re: Show your recent tool purchase/s ( The Tool/s Loot )

Well just got some sale items from ACE SM Hardware section some few months back, just an additional items for my vise grips arsenal. No time to go to Binondo for such items but I guess these vise grip pliers will just be fine and will do justice to my metal working projects. Quality wise, looks and feels heavy duty and its a positive indeed.

These are the Stanley Vise grips ( China made ).

A Tramontina Vise Grip, ( Brazil made ).

Re: Show your recent tool purchase/s ( The Tool/s Loot )

Difference between the Stanley and Tramontina curved jaw locking pliers. The latter seems to have a more versatile jaw opening than the former. Yet both looks heavy duty enough and if I can't find US Vise grip brand locally, I'll just stick to these brands and be getting some more sets. 😉 🙂
