sir joey ,

maganda yan ah , bukas pala Panda kahit Sunday?

magkano po price each ng nabili nyo especially yun Soba and Samson ?Panda ba lahat yan?

🙂

Yes, Panda lahat. I don't think they are open on Sundays.

I can't remember the exact prices but they are roughly:
Soba - 640
Samson - 865
Stripper - 240
screw driver set - 420

for a minimalist like me..id use a wooden curtain rod.

but sure those ss rods are bargains.

:exclamation:

Wooden rods was Plan A, pero naisip ko baka mabali yung kahoy. Majority of the rods are 85 inches long. The longest is more than 11 feet.

Bargain talaga. A 10-foot piece is tagged P800 at Robinson's.

V I had this Makita 7.2V drill that refuses to give up. Solid performer as well as built. Looks like they don't make the new ones like this Japanese kit.

I wanted to extend the drill service life and was on a lookout for a backup battery. I chanced upon the 7.2V angle drill and asked the seller about the battery. He said he just purchased it last spring and cycled it a few times. He was upgrading his tools to the new Milwaukee M10 cordless range. In the end I won the angle drill for the same price as a new 7.2V battery. True to his word the battery that came with the angle drill was indeed almost brand new.

Hehe, not sure if I recall this correctly but I tried this before in a speaker magnet and the driver gets de/magnetized depending if you push it against or pull it away from the magnet.

Hmmnn... maybe you reversed the orientation of the magnet. Doing it in one way magnetizes your screwdriver in a certain polarity. Doing it again with the magnet reversed magnetizes in the reverse polarity. If you stroked it the same number of times in effect "demagnetizes" the driver because the reversed polarities cancel each other out.

I think. :p

@ Moji

Did you have success demagnetizing? I had no problems magnetizing but demagnetizing no luck.

Re: Show your recent tool purchase/s ( The Tool/s Loot )

tools that were magnetized stock were probably heated to very high temp and exposed to a magnetic field to orient the atoms, hard to demagnetize those.

i keep magnets in my toolbox. They're good for keeping small screws together, and they magnetize my screwdrivers (i keep them attached to the magnet while storing them). But the magnetic field degrades quickly when you store them away from a magnet.

Re: Show your recent tool purchase/s ( The Tool/s Loot )

I have very high hopes for this tool's usefulness in the shop and overall house maintenance. The best bang for the buck Oscillating Multitool product in the US Market.

Bosch MX25EC-21 2.5-Amp Multi-X Oscillating Tool Kit

...jay, just want to ask if this is 220V 50Hz or 60Hz? i wanted to buy bosch products here especially this tool, but all are rated 50Hz. im wondering with all you guys experience with power tools if its ok and safe to use 50Hz rated tools there in the phil. thanks!

Re: Show your recent tool purchase/s ( The Tool/s Loot )

I have a number of 2nd-hand Ryobi and Ozito tools frmo Australia (lots in Sulit) and all are rated at 50Hz. I have a much abused sander/polisher, planer/thicknesser, belt sander, drill press, and palm sander. All seem to be still working ok.

They're so cheap that, I figured, worth taking the risk.
