Yes bro bryant, the machine weighs 17.5 kg, of course that is without the lead and ground cables.
Well might as well include the exact dimensions for your information, its 40.8 x 20.3 x 31.5, that's in centimeters bro. 🙂

In this pic, I am just showing you the very big difference in size of the HiTronic compared to my existing Yamato 200 amp DC inverter.

I have tested this machine at GoldPeak, owned/headed by coolmaxheric, and it welds well with the use of 6013 rods of 1/8" and a 3/32". Though I have not used it yet because I am still in search of a good heavy duty electric plug. Got this machine first week of December, a sort of an X'mas gift to myself,
I suppose I will start using this machine comes January 1st using different welding electrodes and see how it performs. It has a one year warranty too from the supplier.

Yes JayL it can be plugged to an ordinary household socket. Though the unit came without the standard built-in plug, so I guess its up to us to supply the correct or necessary electrical plug.

This is the power supply cable without the electrical plug. Its almost 3 meters too.

Bro Heric gave me this plug free for the unit, and its 15 amps but when I tried it in my socket, the grounding prong wont fit though I can just remove it to make the welder work but still I was thinking of finding another and will be looking for some other plug.

And this is what I got from True Value, its a 20 amp heavy duty plug, though its an Omni brand too.

Tried this in my electrical socket for welding and it fits perfectly, I don't have to remove anything from the plug.

So its gonna be a GO for sure this coming January.
