HEHEHE, Bro phezthie, I suppose you are right there, I will have to make a review of this machine, a break in and an in-depth review to find out how sturdy or heavy duty really this HiTronic Arc 300, in action pa ! I'll be posting them too as well for the benefits of other metalworking PHM members or perhaps other non-metalworking members. Oh and thanks too sir phezthie and happy holidays to you.

Yes, its HiTronic Arc 300, an inverter machine as well made by RILAND. Its one of the five major products manufactured by SHENZHEN RILAND INDUSTRY CO.,LTD. Like Riland, Rilon, T&R, Good, this HiTronic machine is considered also as one of their heavy duty welders.

Yes friend WillyF, I do consider this an industry grade DC Inverter weld machine, its in the same level of the Rilon or Riland welders available in the country. Why am I saying this, well from readings and net research, this brand is just one of the 5 major brands manufactured by Shenzhen Riland Industry Co. LTD., makers of RILAND, RILON, T&R, and GOOD, distributed and marketed abroad.

This HiTronic brand is new in the Philippine market, I suppose why its a bit cheaper but I think its prices will go up same as the other products available here in our country sometime soon too as it gain recognition from users. I was considering the RILAND 250A Inverter at LY in Recto but found out their selling price is 32K, too much for my budget so I decided on the HiTronic brand at 300 amps at 18.4K only and with a one year warranty on parts replacements and service. Plus another thing is, this is a sort of support to coolmaxheric, another member here at PHM.

so excited about a new product of Omni...(thanks to Bro Rosy)

i graduated frustrated from those big black rubber plugs you buy at stores...you know what i mean.
for years, i have been using a 15AMP plug also made by Omni, rectangular in shape (sorry i don't have a picture) but it has got no room for biggie electrical cords...
so here it is..

this is the innards of the plug...
two screws with matching plastic grip to hold the insulated wire...just one fine threaded screw for the cover.

no nonsense brass connectors (the screw has been updated here..the slot for the flat screw driver has been widened to fit most standard screw drivers)
