Re: Show your tools in action

ripping full 8' board with diy guide rail ( alum. section " screen divider" nailed to 1/4 mar ply, yes its nailed.... lol!!!!! liquid nails )

guide rail

CS & DIY guide rail in action

i opted to use aluminum section instead of the factory edge of the plywood 'coz its hard to find a 1/4 plywood with a really straight factory edge.

I have plenty of this kind of guide rail, i have one in Ermita, 1 in Urdaneta, 1 in Naga , 1 in Davao 1 in CDO and 1 here in Cebu. madali naman kasing gawin at mas mahal at sagabal pa kung iuwi ko pa.

@fortnapz
Pardon my ignorance, but why multiple passes for the 3/4 ply?

Dumb mistakes will always be dumb mistakes, unless . . . . you learn from it, and then it will be learning experience.

kasi brader for the cs to work in a circle jig, the blade will have to be minimum exposure lang. pag malaking part of the blade is exposed, it will make the cs cut straight........

Re: Show your tools in action

oh, I was wondering about that too, so that's the reason for shallow cuts. Nice! I was used to seeing a router for this kind of work.

RE: the CS circle jig
Is the angle/direction of the CS relative to the radius critical, I assume its suppose to be tangential? What's the tolerance for this?

As long as the boss says it ok, then it should be fine. If she says no, don't even try:ok: hehehehe
