Some of us buy branded and brand new tools/equipment which is really good given the quality of these products.
But some of us (including me) may prefer pre-loved tools for one reason or another (e.g. no funds, occasional use of tools, etc).
If you know what place to visit for these surplus, secon-hand tools kindly post it. Sulit has many ads but sometimes they have no physical store to test the units.
Thanks!

Re: Surplus Tools Shops
Pyth (member of this forum) sells surplus. Got a few things from him which worked.
Re: Surplus Tools Shops
Thanks! I have seen some of pyth's ads but have not bought anything from him.
BTW, I'm looking for a cordless drill.
Ryobi probably fits my bill.
Re: Surplus Tools Shops
You can try visiting any HMR store. They have a lot of surplus stuff, Best branch I visited is the one near Sucat exit. Saw some very big compressors there for 65k, looks new.

Bro Darrel, where in Sucat is HMR store located? Would you have the physical address or perhaps a phone number? I am looking for a good size compressor and maybe other stuff that they may have. Much thanks....

Re: Surplus Tools Shops
I don't use a router that often, so I went for a 'surplus' unit from
Sophie's Audio-Video Hub, a tiny store (in Project 7, Quezon City)
with a much-larger presence online (sulit).
The unit (a Ryobi ERT1250 plunge router) was meh. It works, but
the plunge springs were a little too stiff, and there were signs of
prior use: I think this was a unit originally bought from an Australian
tool store, but then returned by the original customer under the
store's returns policy, then repurchased at a discount, imported and
repaired by the Philippine vendor.
That's not 'surplus'. That's 'refurbished store return'. Nitpicky ba?
The very friendly vendor offered repair (free labor) anytime, and the
price was half of list. The Ryobi router has neither quit, nor ruined
any of my woodworking projects over the past two years. I guess
that's a win, but I waste time fighting the springs, hard, for every
depth-adjustment.
