Your routertable is the work of a master woodscraftsman! i was wondering where did you get those miter guides and what actually are the miter materials(?) you are using?

Where can i get toggle clamps?
They're available in industrial supply stores. They're still a bit expensive at P300 just for the small ones.

Re: toggle

I'm from the eastern side of the MetroManila so the one's I know are: the one at Cainta Junction and the one at the corner of Anonas and Kamias. I suspect the big hardware stores along Aurora Blvd. near La Salle St. in the Cubao area are also industrial supply stores. Of course Binondo is THE place to look for them.
Try the yellow pages too in the "Hardware Section". Those advertising power tools or motors and pumps are good bets to be industrial supplies instead of just regular hardware stores.
Good Luck.
Re: toggle
Thanks a lot sir! By chance, do you still have those ryobi thicknessers i read from your posts a year ago?
Re: toggle
Sorry there are no more thickness planers available.

Re: toggle
Those were the same type that i was staring at 2 weeks ago. Expensive. I gotta make sure i needed one before i'll get one. I did convert one of my 40peso F-clamp into a sorta hold down clamp years ago. I still have it somewhere.
Re: toggle
Toggle clamps are great. I have a couple of them but the only reason I do is because I stumbled upon a price I could not refuse (still not cheap). Being so costly, I've yet to fix them permanently on any one jig. Actually, toggles have been around for quite some time and are used commonly in factories because of their fast and repeatable action action. Toggles do suffer from needing to be adjusted to varying workpiece thicknesses. It is really their fast action that is nice about them.
There are however all sorts of hold down clamping methods that are a lot cheaper. Just bend a flat bar and put a bolt with a knob though it. Just arrange it as a 1st or 2nd class lever, and you have affordable, abliet slow to set, hold downs. Cams are another way though these suffer from a very small workpiece thickness range. Another one is to use a wedge which have a larger workpiece thickness range but cannot apply large amounts of pressure.
There are lots of less expensive ways.
Re: toggle
I might have to get some toggle clamps locally but not in metro Manila. Anyone know what price range to expect ... is P300-500 about right?
bbn mentioned P300 in previous post, while Amazon prices seem to be around $5-10 or so.
I know Panda has them (IIRC, brand SK ?) but haven't asked for prices before.
Re: toggle
depending on the size Guad and design, prices are around P450 up....
