Re: Tool Boxes, Storage Cabinets, Drawers, Carts etc...
Sold na daw. Sana PHMer din ang nakakuha. 😉
Laki nun ah. Mura pa. Would have jumped at it if I saw it earlier. Looks like it will fit the back of a crew cab but that would be difficult to lift without much help.

Re: Tool Boxes, Storage Cabinets, Drawers, Carts etc...
I was too very much interested in this storage cabinet with drawers posted by the seller this am through owyn's 9:49 post while browsing this 10:00 in the morning, it will surely fit as storage for my assorted carpentry tools, for nuts and bolts, for some assorted sizes of wire brush, a number of screw drivers and many more other tools. Its really a good buy and is very cheap, my only problem was how to transport it here to my place, ah if only I have a pick-up truck I could have immediately contacted the seller and purchased that steel cabinet with multiple drawers. I don't think it will also fit in my van.
Just imagine, 2,000.00 only for that storage, really is a steal so to speak, sayang talaga.
Well lucky for that guy or gal who were able to buy it.
Better luck next time.

@ rolly You sell nuts and bolts? How 'bout a lil inside info regarding the quality of grade 5 bolts?
I bought several kilos of 1/4" bolts in recto last year (for work.) Asked the clerk and he said, rather proudly, that their products are "imported"... from china. I wonder if they really are up to spec in their tensile strength... I managed to decapitate a few mushy heads off just by torquing it with a 3/8 ratchet with no cheater bar! Meanwhile, the next batch the driver bought somewhere in bacoor seemed to cinch better.
Judging from the various marks in the head, there must be lots of different sources. Bought a few from my favorite hardware in tagaytay (they mostly sell good stuff) and the boxes were marked "trinity steel, sta. mesa manila"- those fit more snug in the socket wrench, and the head markings were clearer.
Bought some allen headed bolts in recto (3/16" and 1/4") - the bondhus allen wrenches has some play in them, while the ones i bought elsewhere's mate perfectly.
So, if we're looking for quality and aren't too price-sensitive, where should we go to? And any disinguishing features of crappy steel bolts from good ones? (Right now, i just observe if it wrenches snugly, or markings are clear. Those Philippine-made trinity steel bolts, can't say they're world beaters, but they sure ain't crap either!)

I'm aware that there are a few local steel cabinet makers. I've seen lockers that were manufactured by an company in caloocan, there's a showroom in raon one passes by when taking the lrt2, There's also one in ongpin-Hermaco. (Dunno the fit and finish of those, but i'll guess they use thicker gauge steel than toptul!)

Re: Tool Boxes, Storage Cabinets, Drawers, Carts etc...
Those steel cabinets have too deep drawers . These are readily available in Evangelista all the time.
As for nuts and bolts I use only stainless steel ones now and these fair better. For automotive I buy according to the correct specs required from auto supply stores.
Here's some info on fasteners if you guys have not seen it yet. I just don't know how strict the local supplies adhere to such standards.

Like Owyn said it would be good to have some insider information from somebody in the nuts and bolts business itself.

I measure nuts and bolts using a caliper and a thread pitch gauge.
This tools below would be more handy.

Re: Tool Boxes, Storage Cabinets, Drawers, Carts etc...
yep, i have a small auto supply shop and we also sell bolts and nuts. it's still just a couple of months old so im still at the foot of a very, very, very steep learning curve on auto parts information. . . thus, i may not be able to significantly contribute to your thirst for more info on these fasteners (tensile strength, threading, etc), hehe, pero eventually . . . .
Except, of course, if youll be using these for super high-pressure conditions like jets and the like, i think these commercial grade bolts can hold your diy work
the bolts that i have in the inventory are the typical diameters and lengths that auto and motorcycle mechanics need for repairs, and i got these initially from a middleman distributor, but am slowly ordering from a company that actually manufactures these bolts and nuts
if you need parts, email me - [email protected]
