If it can cut steel plates and GI pipes what more with wood as long as your blades are new and sharp !! :matrix:

Yup, it can cut hard wood with the correct blade. I usually keep several blades for the different cut, like plywood and even aluminum.

BTW, I have the Stanley one, no issue so far.
