Thanks bro. I can bring the Metabo CS on the next EB if you want to try it. It seems to be a lower rpm CS. I hope Moji chimes in because he's the first one to power it on. None the less will comment again when I have chance to run it on actual cuts.

I'm very careful on hex chucks when it comes to drilling. From what I read these are great for impact drivers but lousy for drilling because of the wobble.They say it's the nature of the beast.

I will be glad to turn it on myself brader...wala ba sha 5 3/8 inch lang...for ripping plywood lang kasi intended purpose ko.

btw..bosch is selling i think an anti-vibe handle for its grinders...pero sa metabo..its an optional accessory.

I was wondering about the power of the CS. It seemed slower but it could have been the battery not being fully charged.

Did the drill i got not come with a handle like yours?

No it did not come with a handle thus the price break. Handles are available in ebay from time to time. Around $12 used and at times even new. Metabo Universal handle and works usually with most Metabo tools.

I think the perception of the CS lower rpm has something to do with the blade size also. No load speed as per specs is 2700 rpm.

There were a lot of times when a more precise metal cut would have made my task easier. It could have save fitment issue cussing et al... Next time I come prepared.

Pag pinalayas na ko ng Symbo ko dahil sa gastos dito ko ilalagay mga Metabo ..... LOL

Malamang hindi Oz. Pero yun battery alam ko 3 years replacement. If it doesn't charge you don't get charged.

Usually I'll make this cut using the table saw but this time I wanted to try the CS.

The CS gets a blade reload.

A bit cumbersome to setup because I haven't made a sled for it yet.

The saw is more convenient to use than a corded and heavier CS. The rpm is lower but somehow I feel a bit more secured using it. Soft start and very consistent speed under load. Judging from the way the saw uses and conserves power I am inclined to believe that Metabo engineers were maximizing battery use.

Cuts and glides smoothly and the aluminum base is dead on target. Except for an operator error I can confidently comment that the saw passed the audition.

I forgot to set the depth cut adjustment. 🙁

Now I'm happy ... the tear out was minimal when I adjusted the depth of cut.

I noticed that the built in light was also useful to monitor the cut progress.

Yes bro I forgot to mention that I can direct where the saw dust will be blown to in the absence of an attached vacuum.

Metabo high speed die grinder .... soft start , constant variable speed under load .... well balanced and runs smooth as silk

But personally bro I prefer corded power tools than rechargebles, corded PTs gives out more power, constant power and they are a brute, pang harabas talaga. But of course that's only my personal choice.
