sana may tumulong...pls pls pls....

[COLOR="Blue"]sir, anong type ba ng paint ang gagamitin mo? automotive or spray can lang po ba?

mas maganda kung mag start ka from primer to top coat para looks new and fresh ang motor mo. start by wet sanding your flarings hanggang maalis ang top coat nya, kung kaya mo lihain hanggang base coat mas maganda...primer, then kung may mga imperfections sa surface mo, gamit ka ng body filler, liha, then primer ulit. liha, base coat, liha, dikit sticker, top coat. liha then buff 🙂

[COLOR="Blue"]if automotive paint gagamitin mo for plastic flairings, yung Nippon PP Primer, for bakal use Anzahl Primer.

this is just a basic po...

sana may tumulong...pls pls pls....

Your already thinking of top coat, I guess your paint is still good. As long as there is existing paint you should have a thinner test. So that the existing paint wont strip off..

Test it in some unseen area using a cotton bud to know what kind of paint was previously used.. we do not want existing paint to bubble up or be stripped off.

If existing paint is enamel based.. it will strip off and create bubbles when lacquer or acrylic lacquer is applied..

If existing paint is lacquer based.. it will strip off and create bubbles when acrylic lacquer or urethane is applied..

About the mags, use a metal base primer for alloys. Next paint it with your desired color. You may top coat it with clear top coat for gloss. Add a little color to your gloss to give it a tinted gloss effect.

You may add flo, Lacquer flo for lacquer, acrylic flo for acrylics.. its help the paint spread out evenly creating a superior shine quality..

If your on a low budget, used epoxy enamel, it is already shinny and is mixed with a catalyst so you do not need to prime it.. ( I use this in cabinets and stuff, not on cars.. but I know some people use it in jeeps)
