Re: 8 seater breakfast table

place three or four screws per board, that should pull the cupped board straight...

Re: 8 seater breakfast table

This will save my knuckles from rubbing against the underneath of my router when changing bits. Works pretty good

got this for 1,300 plus

I didnt have anyone who would push down on the boards while i screwed from underneath. Hence these heavy weights will have to do

woo hooo! getting there!

Re: 8 seater breakfast table

Very nice Ben, I dig the floating effect but I believe you mentioned that it would still be profiled. Btw, where did you get the Bosch kit?

Re: 8 seater breakfast table

I think I like what Jarod said about the current profile of the table ben, I too suggest to give it as little rounding over only as possible. the floating effect would chance once the rounding is deep.
guys, the Triton router doesn't need the extension... hehehehe 😀

Re: 8 seater breakfast table

oo nga eh egde work will have to be minimal. Just for ergonamics.

My bro said light/natura/grain na finish. So iam thinking using sadolin hardwoodoil (natural shade) then polyurethane. But the only stock i can find is in True value shang and its a HUGE can priced at 3K!!!

baka boiled linseed oil instead of hardwood oil. hmmm

Re: 8 seater breakfast table

do keep in mind that sandolin or any hardwood oil takes at least 7 days to dry... let alone cure.
Happy new year Ben....

post mo naman pics Bee, haven't come across a "wipe-on" water base poly kasi... I do have Ace water base poly which I spray on, no need to thin as it is perfect in my spraygun... very nice to spray and dries in 15 minutes for the next coat...

Re: 8 seater breakfast table

the Wipe-on i mentioned is just a thought 🙂 I plan to use the Ace water based poly that you also have and then thin with 40% water then wipe on.

Not sure if it will work
