If it was regular nail you think the Bosch blade will survive it? From the pics the blade did cut almost half of the concrete nail.

I remember you have a 32 tooth Dewalt blade that came from me. Maybe this will be better for ripping.
the blade chipped a carbide but did not removed the whole thing, so this becomes my rough cutting blade for reclaimed wood.
The blade that hit the nail is now unusable? I guess that is the downside to using recycled wood our blades are always at risk..
That slab is looking good though..how will that bench look like?
the wood is gorgeous though it still needs work, been sanding with 60 grit and still can't get enough. it is so hard that after 4 days of sanding I can only remove less than 1mm. the finished piece should look like this...

the isolation platform is actually an isolation platform on spikes or rubber feet like those but installed on the flat side, let me draw the missing items sa plans so you will know what I have in store.

the spikes mound directly under the platform, those feet should only have the spike feet.... though not a complete picture, you know what I mean since mahirap idraw yung spikes eh 😀
the isolation platforms are separate entities and there is one for each level.

Finally got the leg materials that would hold up to the stresses of the weight. set up the Leigh and router to cut the dovetails... then cut the pins and tails...
test fit...
perfect fit, I just love it when things fit perfect at the first cut. ran out of time, will cut the rest bukas...

got the legs glued and clamped. wanted to see how it looks complete...
nice and solid, no fasteners yet and bottom shelf needs dimensioning. but when I saw how solid it was, I couldn't help but dance.
