Re: Another Audio Bench...

after several coats, I always scrub it with either sandpaper or scrubbing pad before the next coat is applied...

right after spraying...

and two hours later, the sheen starts to flatten....

Re: Another Audio Bench...

Have you used the viscosity cup? How many seconds for the stain?

yup, satin Poly.. Moji.
was told that Narra would make good platforms for this bench. Since I have some left-overs, made the platforms and cut to dimension...

some stain and some poly and all that is left would be the spikes.... konti na lang maiuuwi ko na rin to. 😀

the Asturo was so good that this bench only needed two coats, much less than my previous works which needed some 7 or 8 coats...

Re: Another Audio Bench...

I finally had time to set up... tried several positioning...
started with the amps and pre-amp getting too cramped.

move the pre amp to the top of the CDP (hope it doesn't do any bad to each other.

seems to look good and I have better control (higher and not having to lean low is a bonus)

then move the speakers a bit farther (its my current space limit until I get to fix the place)

I like the way it sounds but cramps the space a bit... really need to fix this place very soon....
