been searching the web for second hand tools. Mostly ang nakita ko ozito and ryobi brands. Any feedback on said brands. Meron din mga makita na cheap but I heard na may mga peke na daw na makita. How do I spot the real ones. Although sa andar pa lang alam na natin ang magandang klase mas ok pa din kung meron bang mga palatandaan yung genuine. Thanks for the coming feedbacks

These two brand names you mentioned are surplus imports coming from Australia and mostly you won't get brand new they are usually second hand or used tools. Well aside from being second hand, its hard to find replacement part if tool/s get defective. Its motor does not match our local electrical current of 50/60 hz, yes its 220 volts but has only 50 hz so you can't use it full force so not to burn your motor. I still prefer buying the named brands available locally like Makita. DeWalt or Bosch, you won't go wrong with this brands plus replacement parts are readily available. But if you want a bit cheaper brand you can try the Maktec, Black&Decker or Skil, these are the DIY brother version of the first three professional brands.

Many DIYers here have gone the route of using these surplus brands but eventually have decided to purchase the named brands due to the facts that the surplus brands lacks the quality or easily gets defective. I will not prevent you from buying the surplus tools, its up to you to decide and perhaps find out for yourself the quality of this two brands, Ryobi and Ozito.

If you are buying new tools for production purposes then get the branded tools with quality and don't settle for throw away tools after several usage.

Well just sharing my thoughts here, I hope other members can chime in also.

Most of my tools are bosch they are tough but not as expensive as makita. I am not comfortable sending a brand new top of the line with the workers, out of the shop. Thats why I am looking for second hand good brands 50hz tools is definitely not a good choice. thanks a lot for the important info.

Hello,
I have Ozito tools, I think three tools to be exact, all of them bug down on me. Replacement is hard to find and the cost is high if you ever found one.
