It would help if you can tell what you will be using it for. There are routers that can be used for small jobs and softer woods and plywoods. I think Bosch GMR1 falls under that category (I think it is less than 500 watts). These use smaller (1/4 " router bits). There are also more robust routers that can be used for heftier jobs that can cut through hard woods like knife to butter and would need fewer passes on the wood to make deep cuts.

One thing good about the bigger routers is that it can accept both 1/2 and 1/4 inch bits. The smaller routers (referred to us palm routers) can only use 1/4" bits.

The GMR1 can be used for door mortising. I think it can be used for inlays too as long as they are not too thick (example: veneers). Depending on the thickness of the inlays, you may have to make a few passes to get the desired depth.

Note, however, that you can do the task faster if you use a heftier router. And less stress on your router.

The GMR1 (sorry it's 550 watts) is available locally. I am not sure if there is an equivalent Dewalt that is just as available.

Speaking of routers, please tell me, is it possible to configure IP changes on the router?

Yes of course. As far as I know, on any router you can change the configuration, including IP. But it is not as easy as it may seem. And what do you need it for? If you need to change the IP in order to get blocked sites for your country, then the easiest way is to use a VPN. Check cyberghost vpn review. You need only a couple of minutes of installation and you can forget about setting up the router.

Well, I will definitely get acquainted with your article, thank you. Maybe VPN will be useful in the future.

If you are in search of a good VPN service to access blocked sites, then I advise you to look at iNinja from the Google Chrome online store https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/proxy-vpn-to-unblock-any/ookhnhpkphagefgdiemllfajmkdkcaim . After reading the reviews, you can make sure that this is a good VPN.
