cutting the pieces didnt take long, i think i did all of the cutting for that in 30 - 45 minutes i think.

how was the box manoevreing into tight corners? no burn marks?

There are burn marks sa extra tight corners
I was pushing the limits in terms of corners for this blade. Its a 1/4 blade 10 teeth per inch ata,
i do have a 1/8 inch blade that can easilly do those corners without a hitch but its 14 TPI, even when cutting straight, if you run a thick stock throught it, it BURNS!!!!! so the 1/8 is only for stocks 2" and below.
The 1/4 blade handled the 4 inch stock as well as the 1/2 inch blade

Hehe, after acquiring tools that let you down am glad that you found a keeper.
FWIW, Powermatic's first taiwanese bandsaw is just like it- the 043- though am not sure about the metal thicknesses etc. The design goes way back to at least the 80's, so it's tried and tested. A departure from the delta 14" cast iron style.

Balarila, i am making a bandsaw box. google bandsaw box and you will find that its easy to build and almost fool-proof to build. All you need is a well tuned bandsaw and off you go. Its a very very forgiving build.
I plan to sell this on my wife's online store. It will just be one of those cutesy items. I plan to make 4 cutesy wood working items per months and sell it there. This will be having a finishing schedule like no other ive done, Since i want it to be top notch and an AWE maker when the customer gets his hand on it.
I plan to charge a not so expensive price on it too. This should help in managing my budget for my woodworking and my (revivied!!) watch collecting sickness (kasalanan ni Potski hehehe)
