Re: Bed Frame WIP

Pwede! With minor adjustments in dimensions, design, height etc. That could work for me.

Pa-PM naman if magpapagawa ako sa iyo ng, let's assume, same bed muna. I'll do the finishing etc.

brader, gawa ka na para may wip ka rin :balloon:the center support is easy, a long strecher with dovetailed ends that locks in place and hold the frame solid as well. Pasyalan mo ko minsan, kape tayo then drawing ko for you to use...

Re: Bed Frame WIP

Clamping after staining. As of now, I don't have long clamps, so I improvised a little.

Ah gets. Dovetail yun joints para hindi mahatak or magstretch yun supports. Cge, i'll visit you sometime kapag napunta ako Binondo.

@bigfoot2:

Konig wenge stain ang gamit mo pala. I also used the same brand for my renovation. Easy to apply and matipid. Have you seen the rubber wood grain "applicator"? I dunno what it's called pero it helps you add rounded and linear grains sa mga woods.

Re: Bed Frame WIP

@Nelson

I change my stain to Mirogaze from Timber. I was using Konig Red Mahongany initially, but had difficulty matching the colors of the legs and rails (they are different wood). Timber lent me some galze to use, I like it better than the Konig. It darkens the wood , but still leaves out the grain.

Mukhang maganda yan. I might try using it sa isang room ko. Where can i buy the Miroglaze?

Re: Bed Frame WIP

Timber get them from Cebu. I just borrowed his, wasn't planning on returning it until he asked for it. 🙂 And I think it's Mirotone not Miroglaze.

Re: Bed Frame WIP

I like the yuck version better. Kasi mas malaki ang support sa ilalim, mas matibay.

Re: Bed Frame WIP

I think a simple block of wood that would act as a shim will fix that gap in your dovetail, as it will move unless you fill that gap.
