Do we have a "Philippine" standard sizes of bed frames and foams?
Re: bed frames and foam
I know we have single, double, queen and king sizes. But I don't know what their measurements are.
You can go to the nearest Uratex outlet and ask for the dimensions.
The next question is are their figures standard? I have no idea. 😀
Re: bed frames and foam
🙂
I've bought mattresses from the Uratex store on Miller Street many times.
"Single" = 36" x 75"
"Double" = 48" x 75"
"Full" = 54" x 75"
"Queen" = 60" x 75"
"King" = 72" x 78"
Obviously some of the above designations are at odds with international standards.
They don't even match the "bed-sizes" chart on the Uratex blogsite,
...but we have to work with what's available locally, lel.
Re: bed frames and foam
Other mattress brands have Different measurement w/ uratex's Queen" = 60" x 75" ..Some have Cal Queen w/c is 60"x78"..I dont think we have Cal queen size here in the philippines
Re: bed frames and foam
60"x75" is queen size here in the philippines pretty much everywhere i've seen. in the semi-furnished condo we rented before the bed frame was for 60"x78", so i had a mattress custom made by uratex. bought a queen bed frame last year. in the showroom it looked decidedly longer than 75" -- asked the sales people and they confirmed it was 78" so i figured swak na swak yung mattress namin (didn't think to measure it myself). when it was delivered, found that there was a gap! spoke to the shop, apparently "pang 78 to 80 inches sir" ang haba. nice. oh well, when this mattress gives out, pasadya ulit kay good old uratex.
but the dimensions provided by horge match what i've seen as "standard" for philippines.
