It's standing anyway.

Wedged Tenon. Now I know why the slits should just be 1/8" from the edge of the tenon.

When they say "Measure twice, cut once", don't believe it, it should be "Measure thrice, cut once, measure again and again."

interesting wedged tenon..Bigfoot meron na dado cut sa plywood, is the wedged tenon additional support for the joinery or aesthetic na lang?

Ideally it's for additional support, kasi it failed on the aesthetic na part e. hehe. Also, should have used hardwood for the wedges.

It's suppose to be an open back shelf, so I was afraid of rocking, hence the wedged tenon.

Dumb mistakes will always be dumb mistakes, unless . . . . you learn from it, and then it will be learning experience.
