Just by coincidence, this arrived for me just last Sunday. You probably have your technique for cutting the 2" thread, but if you need a 1-1/2 thread cutter by 6, let me know.

as soon as I can be back at my shop, I will start laminating some maple blanks for our use. I have a few, not sure it will be enough for two, but we'll see what I have.
from Chisel and myself, we both agreed that laminated piece is the correct direction for this as it should be much stronger than a single piece.

we actually started wit 3 1/2 x 3 1/2" Mon, that gave Chisel room to flatten and square the block to 3 x 3 so he can reference the rest. But a clean 3x3x24" square block should work just right...
