not the classic style we were looking for for a bench vise, but these should work very well for adjustable chair build...
the threads...

the nuts...

the fit is just tight...

they make nice barbells.

it will work fine, but with 6tpi its just too fine a thread and slow to open the vise. A 2tpi thread would be preferred...
