Where to get doweling? The salesman in Panda (who otherwise seems very experienced) did not know of doweling. Do you call it something else here?

not everyone in the country knows much about woodworking Frank, best to bring a sample or a picture to communicate better. Also things are often called here by a different name. Are you looking for a doweling jig, a dowel or something else? You must have spoken to Edward, he is not the salesman, he is one of the owners of Panda.

Ok, doweling is round section softwood timber, normally sold in 3' lengths
I personally use it when I edge joint boards, so use quite a bit of it.
I thought Edward a really nice guy, he came across as honest and having integrity.

Dowel is a piece of round cylindrical wood to joint edges or supports, mostly like 4cm long and 3/4 cm in diameter for wood foe metal some called dowel bolt etc. another alternate for this is biscuits whick I love to use but with the use of a bisuit jointer!

I think we all know what a dowel is. What timber is asking is what is exactly needed as the term "doweling" is not the actual item itself.

Dowels are available in the land of evrything known as Binondo... Look for "to suy" stores and bring a sample or picture. Or you can go to hafele taguig, they have it there by the millions also.

Doweling is the term used for material from which dowels are cut. It is also the term used to cover that procedure where dowels are used. So it's both a verb and a noun.

in tagalog you can ask if they have a material pang suksok sa butas, yung mahaba ng konti.... bring picture is better, in hafele, just ask for dowels...
