Re: First attempt...

Kailangan lang daw na magbutas ako mula sa corner ng 3/4 of an inch..

[IMG][/IMG]

At ilubog ang plastic bushing sa butas..flat in the wood..wala akong bit na pang counter sink kaya hindi maganda ang pag kakabutas..anyway matatakpan din naman ng bushing..

[IMG][/IMG]

Here's the finished product after painting then hang it in the wall..

Like I said, very nice display cabinet, but how well is it secured on the wall. I don't mean to be a KJ here or spoil your nice intention with regards to the project but the location of that display cabinet just gives me the creeps, its just right on top of your bed, the headboard in particular.

In Feng Shui, if you believe in it, is such a no no. 😮 Its like having something heavy on top or above your bed that might accidentally fall anytime, well God forbid, on the person sleeping and may cause some injuries, at may glass pane pa ! Or possibly when you wake up each morning, you'll start having some headaches due to that heavy object just right above your head. Well bro, opinion ko lang yan ha, you may believe it or you may not on the practicality of that what I am saying and of Feng Shui.

Very nice stuffed toy collections there bro.

GOOD LUCK and stay safe bro !

Re: First attempt...

@bugel,

nice quick project! kudos to you!

what finish did you use? flat wall enamel then quick dry enamel?

@rosy,

yeah, gives me the creeps...prang "final destination" scenario.

Re: First attempt...

@ sir armand/balarila thanks sa comment..enjoy palang gumawa ng simple cabinet..ambilis madali pang i square unlike metal kahirap i retain ng 90 degree angle nababago habang nag aaply ka ng weld.

@ sir joey/quarxdmz..lol!

Lol!

I brush on sanding sealer before epoxy primer para wag matakaw masyado ang wood.

Anyway let's wait for seasoned woodworkers for more feedback.
