After studying dadoes, learning how to use a circular saw, and finally trying a router, here is my very first build.
Just a few things I have to note/ask hoping to help me and somebody else too...
1. I always forgot to add the stop on my dadoes, any tips how you do these?
2. Never work without your plan!
3. Without the table saw, how do you lessen the damage on the plywood after crosscuts?
4. The 3/4 straight bit is not the same as the plywood width!
5. I need to add a face frame to hide the crosscut splinters.
6. Can you profile a plywood with some ogee bits or a round bit?
Here was my plan:
What I ended up making (I removed one row I figured I will just hang my tools in the space)
By the way, cabinet is upside down.
Here is where i should have stopped my dadoes:
And here, I just used a wrong router bit:
Still looooong ways to go, before I can make one that is really nice. But atleast I get to store my tools soon...
Re: First Build Tool Cabinet
Finished product..
Next build hopefully, a workbench. Hirap ng wala e...
Re: First Build Tool Cabinet
Don't beat yourself too hard. That's an admirable first build. My first atttempts did not involve joinery. All screws.
First time I used a router, could hardly control it.
Congratulations and looking forward to more!

Re: First Build Tool Cabinet
thanks sir Balarila.
Like with everything else, it takes a lot of practice. But honestly, masakit sa likod pag walang workbench. I hope to build one soon.
