Re: getting the feel of woodworking

If just wet from rain just let it dry when the sun comes out. If soaked in water for too long, you need to let it dry as long as you can as the weather is humid nowadays.

Re: getting the feel of woodworking

if drying those wet lumber will take long for you to start a project, i might suggest you buy dry ones from your local lumberyard!

naiinip nako kasi sa project mo..hehehe

the rain wont stop me from doing something especially woodworking...

imho the saw horses can wait!

then use decent wood and avoid headaches. my sawhorses are not exactly level nor even... but I use them for rough work. But you can always put a flat piece of plywood over them and have a flat surface.

Re: getting the feel of woodworking

yesterday i decided to make some sawhorses, in the middle of measuring ang marking stage i decided to make a worktable (table coz its not decent enough to be called a bench). next weekend i can start my entertainment rack.

Re: getting the feel of woodworking

Aside from the sturdy bench, what caught my eye is the giant sanding disc at the floor at the back of the table. I never knew that there was a 12-inch sander existed, probably industrial...

Only to realize it was the spin drier's cover of the washing machine 😀
