Most probably its polyurethane. The procedure I know is to remove, sand and seal again with poly. Not an easy task IMHO.

nakow! not an easy task, SUS. niliha ko na yung kwarto kahapon sir. Any advice kase nabili ko na din ang stain, sealer at polyurethane varnish hindi na ako pwedeng umatrass dito mga sir

I believe what Bigfoot meant was, it is difficult to remove the original finish on the parquet. after sanding, you can move to the easy part which is brushing the finish on...

HE HE HE you don't really have to be surprised or to be desperate with the big task that you are doing now, that,s the procedure that I know also, you sand and resand then seal again with poly, similar somewhat to repainting a furniture or a car, only difference with yours is one large flat area of flooring.
Bro para hindi ka malula do it section by section and before you know it matatapos ka na pala and also think positive, don't think of the hardship in the task that you will embark into, think already of the end result na ang outcome will be perfect and beautiful and that you will be proud of yourself that you've done a good jobl.

I think sanding is the hard part bro, it's both tedious and dusty to do ESP if you are staying in the house na. Yung staining and sealing would be the easy part na Lang. Good luck to you.
