Been searching for the build hardware and so far this is what I find.

Pretty dissent for a locally available key hole but very thick hope I can incorporate it in the build.

Can’t find the hinges instead I found this, “tung oil”

Re: Jewelry Box 4 SWMBO

Lay out the legs and cut it later.

Glue the top it is ¾ “ thick.

This is where I stop last week.

And last Saturday I started marking for some rabbet for the 2 sides.

Cut the legs also in the router table so it will stay nice and straight.

Re: Jewelry Box 4 SWMBO

Dry fitting the case.

The wood here is not on my side after a week of gluing it warp and impossible to slide on the rabbet so I just slice it 2 ½” wide in the table saw.

Re: Jewelry Box 4 SWMBO

Had to replace my saw blade to dado, here I want a 1/8” boxjoint it should be a haft blind dovetail but its too time consuming wish I have a dovetailing jig.

Made a jig again.

The cut is clean its all in the jig, BUT I STILL WISH I HAVE A DOVETAILING JIG.

Re: Jewelry Box 4 SWMBO

Its been a slow week for me kaya eto lang muna.
I’ m starting to make dado for the plywood to make a drawer, once again I used the dado blades a little larger than ¼” for the plywood to slide.

As what Timber said this model of dado produces a very clean cut.

May saw blade is a 50 teeth thin kerf combination blade its been a year and it still stay sharp just wondering if ever it becomes dull is there a locally shop here that hone saw blades.
