thanx po ng marami sa info, sabi ko na nga ba me mali sa ginawa ko dati e .

hehehe dati kasi nag experiment ko magspray painting hehehehehe 1:1 yun ratio ko kaya pala anlapot ng lumalabas sa tip nung gun ko , pati yun clear coat ko naging parang sapot ni spiderman yun lumabas .
tsaka yun gun na ginagamit ko ala pa pressure gage,kasi yung nakita ko dun sa kabilang thread about spray painting naman e , me pressure gage bago sa gun .

back to square one uli ako hehehe apply ko tong dagdag kaalaman na to pag me ipipaint ko uli.

btw sir ano po pala un pressure ng hangin ,gravity type din yun spray gun ko.

up ko lang dito sa thread. gusto ko sana din DIY kitchen cabinets ko kaso kulang ako sa oras at gamit pati experience sa woodworking. Kaya ako na lang nagdesign at conecptualize. Yun cabinet doors pinagawa ko sa Deluxe hardware sa Soler, yun mga stainless steel wires baskets, pullout pantry, handles, concealed hinges, cabinet suspension sa T. Alonzo Binondo, tapos yun cabinet carcase sa malapit woodworking shop na all white. sabi ng kaibigan ko dapat magkaulay daw yun sides sa cabinet door. Napansin ko sa kapitbahay ko DIY gumagawa inabot na 2 buwan hanggang sa ulanin na mga gawa nyan plywood.

@ wool, it's good that you highlighted this - how you made your DIY project. being a DIYer does not mean doing everything by yourself from start to finish :-). primary reason for this is the limited resources on hand (e.g. tools, skill set, knowledge, time, etc.). but one thing is common for any DIYer, everything starts from you - you want to 'make' something that will truly fit your need which you cannot find in the market. as such, in any project, a DIYer will always need to conceptualize, design, and plan for what he want's to achieve - your end goal. how you do it (e.g. fully on your own, partially on your own, outsource, sub-con, etc.), to make it into reality, really depends on your plan/strategy and the amount of involvement you want to put into your project. some would prefer to do most of the work if the resources are there. others would prefer to have the parts fabricated and just assemble it to ensure quality. so it does not make you less of a DIYer if you just did the concept/design and have the parts fabricated. on the contrary, it makes you a better DIYer because you learned to understand the constraints (current limitations) on-hand and still get the project completed ... cheers

Thanks Boo! I have great sense of accomplishment kapag idea ko design ko yun implemented though din naman perfect at least lessons to be learned.

Ilan coat ba ng solignum pag naglagay sa plywood na cabinet?

Two or three coats will do but you should let it dry thoroughly between coats. Use only the clear Solignum, smell is much much less assaulting compared with the dark brown Solignum. :agree:
