wow Ben, how your shop has grown. I still vividly remember the first few pictures of your shop. It only had two tables several powertools and machines and even allowed parking... lol
congrats, looks fine with me. though if you wish to move it around, there are several drawings at sketch up that allows you to plan your workspace. they have pre-drawn tools you can move on paper before you start lifting them....

Re: lazy sunday, did some "spring" cleaning

hehehe, what you can do instead is draw one machine at a time on paper and cut them out. then draw your space and move the cut-outs until you find a set up that will work for you.
here is a tip.
where the material enters is where the first cutting tools should be. ex. for plywood or sheet goods, the cut off table with the cs is there. then the ts, then the CMS or thicknesser and so on and so forth....
the back portion would house the sanding stations which should be an easy move to the finishing station (also the cleanest portion of your space)

Re: lazy sunday, did some "spring" cleaning

the cut out sounds like more fun than sketch up ehehehe

oo nga eh. i organized my shop based on what fits and how it fits rather than flow

Your workshop has indeed grown! Looks like a production workshop already..

Question, does your garage have some sort of gate on one side? Doesn't rain affect your tools? That is my problem in my shop, one side is exposed to the elements..rust develops fast.

Re: lazy sunday, did some "spring" cleaning

pawis? heheheheh

some tool has some rust developing. e.g. the chuck of my drill press. The shop is open on one side BUT no rain goes into the shop area. so ambient moisture lang

i actually did a bit of work today. I got some wing nuts sa Gentner Enterprises, a nice small hardware store sa del monte ave. QC the other day so all my crappy shopmade knobs were replaced with 1/2 inch bolt and wing nut.

Feels real nice doing that kasi WALANG CLUTTER hehehe
