Re: lazy sunday, did some "spring" cleaning

Has any of you wondered what lies inside that dark room to the left of my miter saw station???
????????
?????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Well it used to be a place filled with junk and what nots from the construction of the house, and before tonight, i could NOT SEE the flooring of that place!

Now ITS USEABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks to our gardener whom i asked to make neat of the little place.

I will be putting up shelves for wood storage and maybe a wrap around desk with drawers and cabinets. a quaint little place for me to doodle incomprehensible plans

naknam....kala ko yun na ang buong workshop mo..meron pa palang extension. 😀

just a question: saw this in the internet, pipe clamps used as bench vise, will this type of vise work?

I will start building my trestle workbench and thinking of adopting this one.

Re: lazy sunday, did some "spring" cleaning

I have heard sucess with vises with pipe clamps Armand, one question, how much will you spend on decent pipe clamps? now how much does a decent wood vise cost? chances are price isn't so much difference that I would consider the real deal... looking forward to your wb soon...

ahehehehe 😀 Pressure tank dapat yung nandito, kaso since nasa pinaka mababa ako na elevation sa subd. namin, malakas yung pressure so no pressure tank or pump

so dito na dapat finishing area ko.... kaso hindi practical. So wood storage nalang muna

So i guess i can practice my cabinetry with this.

going to your pipe clamp. My record vise was only 5K something. One pipe clamp of that length is ..... 2K? so you might end up spending 4K plus plus. Baka nga hindi practical in the end

Bee

This is what the package looks like. You have to provide the pipe.

Re: lazy sunday, did some "spring" cleaning

finally moved ALL my sheet goods in the new storage area. I will be making a two level over head shelvings for long stocks, directly infront is where all sheet goods cut offs will be

and i thought i had a large space... i now have an EVEN LARGER one!, my assembly table is now pushed all the way against the right wall, and the TS goes along with it. Usually assembly tables require an all sides access. But for some reason i never needed it so i decided to push it up again the wall

I now have a large VOID in the middle, Perfect for making a planer and jointer looooooooooooooong table with permanent infeed and out feed extension for the thickness planer. i plan to put 1.5 meters of permanent infeed and outfeed support for the thickness planer

That wall on the right will be cladded with 1/2 inch plywood. I will have a french cleat storage system (google french cleat woodwhisperer to find out how simple this is )
