here is my quickie project, almost complete after three days of work...

still in the dry-fitting stage, no finishing yet on the leg assembly. top and shelf still in sanding sealer stage.

those are Pine from your friendly wood store... "W" where you buy your wood too...

I still am wide awake, hmmm, lets start the finishing... will need about 4 to five coats anyway....
using hardwood oil, my first coat is applied...

immediately the tenons built definition and character...

after 10 minutes I wipe it off, ganun talaga parang golf, pinapalo tapos hahabulin...

after 5 minutes, the second coat is applied...

your tenons are a bit proud...hmmm...greene and greene design ha!

lucky you youve got that large slab of pine with beautiful grains.

what wood oil did you use btw?

its also nice to buy at "W" coz most of their stocks were preselected.

tanguile... for the stretchers... but very dense as well. I used my favorite hardwood oil "Sandolin" thanks Doc, you can call me Sonny here...

That's a nice table. The goncalo really stands out. How do you plan on attaching the table top and shelves?

big hole at the bottom part of the stretchers

small exit hole...

still undecided how to address wood movement though....

into the last leg of the build...
I smoothen the edges sanded the sealer and applied two coats of Tung oil...

all I do now is watch it dry... 😛 two more coat goes in later though 😉
