Re: MDF Boards Projects

This is one of my favorite work I did last year (2010).

Office table made of 18mm MDF 2face Black with Aluminum laminate as accent,
3 layer drawers & 1/2" thick frosted glass top.

Re: MDF Boards Projects

@bryant,
it maybe camphone but it did justice to your fine laminate works.

theoretically speaking, either a down cut or up cut solid carbide bits will give excellent results for laminate edge to edge jointing...

but i am dreaming of those compression bits only they are sooo expensive.

i especially would like to know the build process of your sliding doors..the hardwares that you used i mean.

thanks

Re: MDF Boards Projects

@Violane

for the sliding door I'm using this type of roller with aluminum top & bottom rail.
Need to router a channel on the MDF Board to attach the rail.

Study Table w/ drawer just finished recently.

Bryant, how did you attach the main table to the rest of the lower portion?

Re: MDF Boards Projects

@ Jarod

Yun side panel ay naka-screw sa top stiffener, 2pcs x 10cm width similar to this one.

Yun naman top panel (table top) ay naka-screw mula sa ilalim ng stiffiner. As much as possible kailangan limited lang yun mga exposed na screw head. Pero hindi talaga maiwasan kaya nilalagyan ko na lang ng plastic cover caps.
