Timb what was the final thickness of the table top?

hehehe, di naman ako ganun katanda para matawag na manong. hehehe, the project is something you can do if you start and practice. you just have to start building stuff from small things. I always recommend making boxes. ako din gusto ko ng tolls, para may regular income ako :p... hahahaha

Timb what was the final thickness of the table top?

the edges measures 1 thick but after the chamfer, it measures 1 3/4 thick...

Astig talaga yun mga Showa bar clamps. Come to think about it the price of Pony pipe clamps w/ the pipes is expensive also .. better to add some more and get the Showas.

in fact Jay, the Showa will come out cheaper than the Ponies and pipes depending on the length... that was my consideration too before buying them, and glad I did because these clamps are real bears and very easy to use...

One thing to note with the Showa t-bar clamps is that the actual capacity may be less than the named capacity. For example, the 48" clamp opens to 47-11/16" only.

If you need 48" opening, you have to get the next size clamp, 54".
