My First Work Bench

Hi, this is my first project posted here in PHM and actually it is my first wood project. Im new to this hobby. I just started last year when I start to do this Work Bench. It took me almost year to complete this build. sobra bagal paminsan-minsan ko lang kasi nagagawa medyo busy.
I started gathering materials and tools power tools March 2011 and started the build in June last year. finished it February 2012. I have no plans I just go with it.

the table top is 3pcs 2x8x48 then edge band with 2x3 the legs are 4x4.
this work bench is very heavy.

the sliding door also works as a lock for the drawers.

as request by violaine here are the close up pic of the casters I use. the casters are rated 750kg/caster but 1500kg for the set of 4.

when all foot are extended it would be very hard for the table to move.

btw how did you fasten the 2 x 8 slabs on top of the legs?

I use my Kreg + hafelle hi-lo screw (the longest i think its 55mm). I think 6-8 screws per leg plus across the cross sections.

I also use the kreg + hafelle hi-lo screws to to join the 3 slabs of 2 x 8.

I bought those caster in DAU. it cost me P1,500 set. I will be in Clark next week, I can check if anybody is interested.
