To answer your question, based on the pic you showed, it looks like its an 8mm or 9mm round bar
to me, bent and shaped into that configuration. Not sure if you can just simply buy it anywhere as is
but I suppose it can be made buy you or some one in your place perhaps by a brother or your dad.
This round bar/s can be purchased in hardware stores selling re-bars used for
constructions. You will have to make a guide or a jig to be able to bend the round bar into any
shape you desire or exactly as your sample pic. 😉
Bending the steel round bar will not be that hard, medyo malambut pa yan specially using
a small diameter pipe as your handle in shaping each bend.
Hope this helps !! :studsmatta:

Re: Newbie: How to make this or where can I buy this?
saan ba galing yang piece na yan? was it also from a book stand?
Re: Newbie: How to make this or where can I buy this?
Hi Rosy, thanks for letting me know, yes will do. I have encouraged my brother as well to join in this community. Reading things here helps us a lot. The more we got motivated to start up, enter in furniture business. Thanks for the info by the way, i'll have my dad read this since im not yet knowledgeable with these things, its a big help. Thanks again!
Re: Newbie: How to make this or where can I buy this?
Salamat Sir Lockexiii!
Re: Newbie: How to make this or where can I buy this?
wala ako idea kung magkano na price ng bakal ngaun. its been years since i last bought stuff for my father's shop.
kung konti lang nmn ang kelangan mo,better accept that offer. pero kung medyo madami, say 10+ you may consider doing it on your own, esp if you have some tools lying around your house waiting to get some action.hehe
why it is better to just accept the offer?
1) based sa picture, maybe 15-20inches ung lenght ng rod. so kung 10+ and kelangan mo, you will use at least 1 length ng SS round bar. kung 1 or 2 lang ang kelangan mo, sayang nmn if you will buy and just scrap the excess, unless may paggagamitan ka pa.
2) if you need only a few pieces, and you do not have the tools needed to fabricate that thing, it will cost you more.
pero kung madami kang kelangan and you have some tools, a hammer and a hacksaw with a good sharp blade, better DIY. para makasave ka. and maganda din na experience. mas maappreciate pa ng sister mo, + sa effort. 😀
and please drop the "sir", im not a pro unlike sir rosy. newbie diy-er lang din ako. i just decided to be serious diy-er this year lang.:p
