Re: ottoman

yes mga brad...

the one i used for the ottoman is a china bristle....

So you mean bro, the leveled top coat finish on your morris chairs are all brushed satin poly?:insomnia:

yes mga brad...Magandang brush para sa mga Master Finishing . Basta maalagaan lang sa linis after use tatagal.

Purdy nga daw maganda bro, mahirap kasi maghanap na tunay ng animal hair lalo na yung mga oc hair. Pero again, it would depend of the coat's base solvent.

yes brad jarod, all are brushed...
it was so tedious, malaki kasi yung project, i have to lay down, squat, crunch, etc, when finishing the morris...
malaking factors yung type of brush we used, and the strokes when applying the finishes.
only the tip of the brush are in contact, when leveling the finishes...
yung hindi ba nagmamadali...

here's the type of brushes i used when finishing the morris...
a polyester ( synthetic ) type of brushes.

i don't know about the purdy brand, hope it's available locally...

here's an update of the ottoman projects...

it's assembly time...

glued all the side rails, it's good that i have finished first the project, coz glue clean-up is easy...
kulang pa pala ang pipe clamps ko...

buti nalang may f-clamp pa ako to the rescue...

tomorrow naman yung front and back rails...

Re: ottoman

gluing the front and back apron, together with the shelf...
starting with the first side rail...

then the other side...

then clamp the shelf first, before clamping the front and back apron...
